And that brings us to the end of another volume.
Indeed it does. At 16 volumes this manga felt like it stretched ahead of us a long way when we started, but not long to go now. We’ll be wrapped up by the end of the year.
I wondered at the end of volume 1 where this manga was going. The picture of Asumi in space made me think it was heading way beyond the school years, and into their careers as astronauts. It now feels like it’s all going to wrap up at their school graduation - possibly at the end of the third year - or perhaps some of the continuing into a fourth year. Shuu seems to have the best shot at actually getting into space at present.
Mission 58
They managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory! The engineer guy seemed to like Asumi’s attitude of putting human safety above all else in the mission - perhaps something that was missing in the doomed mission in the past…

I didn’t know the answer to the mountain range question - perhaps that’s a more famous fact in Asian geography lessons. I didn’t even get there from his botched answer - the correct answer is ウラル not ウルら
I know about the Urals.They mark the border between Europe and Asia.
