ばょかった Literal translation

What is the literal translation of this word/sentence? and can it be written with kanji? I know that it is used to mean ”I should have done something" It seems like it is a sentence rather then one word? It seems like it’s ba as in location and yokata as in was good? So it means it was a good place? Is there a website that I can use that will translate all hiragana words in to it’s kanji form?

Thanks

It’s the ば conditional, plus よかった.

It’s not complete on its own, the ば is just a normal part of one of the forms of conditionals you can make.

ある > あれば
できる > できれば
あるく > あるけば
etc
