Forget the past.

Maybe in the sense of „let the past rest in peace“ I guess?

I guess so! (Not just forgetting every Japanese word or grammar point you’ve ever learnt, which is my usual way of doing things).

We’ll have to re-name this thread the Yotsuba-Zen Calendar 2023! Amazing work @ChristopherFritz ! Just amazing!

At first, I tried working out something focused on Yotsuba’s father reflecting on how it’s been 20 years since he and his daughter moved into their new home, but that didn’t fit the quote and would have made some of us feel old.

20 years?! Blimey, yes, I just checked… 15th of September, 2003! We’ll have to do something in the Yotsuba threads to mark the occasion. A 24-hour discord read-through, something like that?

One volume per hour for the first fifteen hours, then nine hours of silent prayer for a new volume.

Only one more year left, perhaps?

The guy does a chapter every three months. He’s got plenty of free time.

You can tell you weren’t there in the readings. :joy:

It was like 1 chapter per hour if things went well, afair.

Well, one chapter per hour includes translations. If we’re just reading, I reckon we could manage a volume per hour. Maybe an hour fifteen at most.
