I thought up of a related vocab for each A-J, but probably not on-mim.

C. Dental Fricative Consonant - s - 静寂, 早速
D. Liquid Consonant - r - 呂律
E. Nasal Consonants - m and n - 生ぬるい, objectivity
F. Voiceless Bilabial Plosive - p - 出発, plosion
G. Semi-vowel - y - 揺れる, 緩む
H. Back High Vowel - u - 受ける
I. Back Vowel - o - 恐る恐る

Words of the day

• ひょっこり(.) = (on-mim) all of sudden
• わなわな(.) = (on-mim) trembling (from fear; cold)
• 頽(くずお)れる = to collapse (no physical strength; emotionally). Has Furigana, and this form in context and JJ, but IME doesn’t suggest. Rather, 崩折(くずお)れる is in IME (and follows the sound well).
• 一丸(いちがん)となって = everyone in unison
• 野暮用(やぼよう) = minor business
• 読点(とうてん) = comma punctuation = 「、」
• 幽明(ゆうめい) = next world and this world; dark and light
• 等身大(とうしんだい) = life-size (figurine)
• 悪辣(あくらつ) = merciless; vicious
• 露払(つゆはら)い = herald; opening the way first
• 不徳(ふとく)の致(いた)すところ = undesirable state brought by my lack of virtue
• 骨(ほね)が折(お)れる = to take much effort; to be bone-breakingly difficult
