The story is probably OK, but I got confused in the middle. Two lots of reading (first to middle of Ch.8). Problem was, it felt too long and no paragraph break.
Though, I have a little qualm of city names being an alphabetic letter, not that I havenโt seen this pattern before.

- ใใใ = (on-mim) shaking violently
- ใใใใใใ = a Japanese childrenโs game. ็ฑ ็ฎ = woven pattern (eyes, ็ทจใฟ็ฎ) of a basket (็ฑ ). Though, the word is said to come from ๅฒใ.
- ใใใใ = to smoke (cigarette); to burn incense = ็ปใใ
- ็ญๅ = an upright paper for writing (e.g. in a store; poems). No Furigana. Also, different reading for the second Kanji.
- ๆนพๆฒ = a curve. The first Kanji is the same one for bay, also in ๅฐๆนพ, but has a second meaning for curve (= ๅผฏๆฒ ย / ย ๅฝๆฒ).
- ็ ดๆฐด = rupture of the (amniotic) membranes, preceding childbirth
- ่ฑ่ผ = dislocation of a joint. The second Kanji is ่ผ (= a mortar).

- ็ธๆง = affinity between people. I keep forgetting how to read the Kanji.

- ่้็ = collecting habit (mania) = ๅ้็. Has Furigana. IME wouldnโt even try to suggest the first form. The first Kanji is generally replaceable with ๅใป้, it seems.
- ๆธ ๅป = upright; integrity
- ่ฒซ็ฆ = significant presence; dignity. Has Furigana.
- ๅฅๅ = unexpected stroke of luck. Has Furigana.
- ้ฝๅ = feint; distracting (tactics)
- ่ฟฝใใฏใ = bandit = ่ฟฝใๅฅใ. Also, highwayman; gentleman of the road; road agent; holdup = bandit, it seems.
- ใใใๆงใใชใ = lacking patience = ๅ ชใๆงใใชใ
- ็ฎ่ซ่ฆ = a plot; a scheme. Iโve heard the word, just canโt guess the Kanji form. Verb form is ็ฎ่ซใ.
- ้่ฟซใๅใ = close sword-to-sword duel. First part has Furigana.

็็ถฟใง้ฆใ็ตใใ = to strangle slowly with a silk cord (instead of quickly with a rope); to torment by slow degree.
- ็็ถฟ is silk, while ็ถฟ or ๆจ็ถฟ seems to be just cotton.
- ็ตน and ็ตน็ถฟ are also silk.
- ๅข็ฉดใๆใ = to dig (oneโs own) grave. The first word uses On readings. ใฑใ is also that hole.
