  • まどろみ = doze; short sleep = 微睡(まどろ)み
  • がむしゃら = daredevil = 我武者羅(がむしゃら)
  • ヘドロ = sludge. Probably from 泥(どろ), not sure about へ part. Looks like 反吐(へど)?
  • イソギンチャク = sea anemone = 磯巾着(いそぎんちゃく). That thing wearing a piece of cloth at a shore (磯(いそ)).
  • 怒涛(どとう) = surging waves (at a beach, sea). Has Furigana.
  • 一縷(いちる) = a slight clue (of hope, 望(のぞ)み). Has Furigana.
  • ～然(ぜん)と = -like
  • 夜鍋(よなべ) = work at night = 夜(よ)なべ. Nothing to do with a hot pot (they did historically).
  • 壮年(そうねん) = prime of life
  • 分布(ぶんぷ) = distributing; distribution. A lookalike is 頒布(はんぷ), but has different reading.
  • 実直(じっちょく) = honest; upright
  • 気高(けだか)い = noble
  • 堰(せき) = a dam. Has Furigana.
  • 呪縛(じゅばく) = binding spell
  • 叱咤(しった) = scolding. Has Furigana.
  • 証左(しょうさ) = evidence = 証拠(しょうこ). No idea what has to do with left (左(ひだり)).
  • 平坦(へいたん) = flat
