I second the question about page 57. I tried figuring out the kanji by drawing it on my phone, but to no avail.
フアミレスビッチ family restaurant bitch?
I think ビッチ means ‘slut’ in this case, to contrast it with 処女.

What does てき mean?

I still struggle with に sometimes. Why is it 私には instead of just 私は?

Thank you! I will need to have a better look at this when I am better rested, but it looks like it might help me on a very fundamental level!

It definitely looks more like てき but from context I’m pretty sure it actually says とき.

Phryne:
What does てき mean?
Is it 言ってき - i.e. ~てくる with くる in its stem form?
On second thoughts I think it’s 言うてき, it could be this meaning:
とき definitely makes more sense in context.

I think you only get てき like that after nouns, not verbs? I guess とき makes more sense

顔(?)もメガネと(?)_ればそこそこ…
I asked on HiNative and it’s 顔もメガネも取ればそこそこ. Though I think を instead of that second も makes more sense, maybe?

I think it looks more like を, too.

If you compare it to other occurrences of て (e.g. have a look at the text in the box where it says ~させていただく) you can see that て is written with three straight lines in zig-zag (like a z) so this one must be something different, and the closest character would be と.
