I-I’m not 6 weeks behind, if that’s W-what you think!

There’s a bunch of 略字 this week.
If you see a kanji that doesn’t look like a kanji, you know what it is
So far, I have spotted the 間 in 3年間 and the 前 in お名前. Also the 問 in 問題.

I was a few weeks behind as well but I finished to catch up yesterday. It’s a great feeling to pick “I’m reading along”

I haven’t finished reading yet but…

...my favorite part of this chapter yet

Also if anyone was wondering about page 73: I guess メートヒェン = Mädchen (German word for girl).

I loved that part as well

I had a hard time understanding that, and I think I only got it thanks to the furigana (おんなのこ) …

German written in katakana looks and sounds so wrong… :joy:

I think it is especially poorly katakana-ized :frowning: They should at least have used ド instead of ト (although I know that in some German regions it’s more like the latter, but still…)

I read it here before I got to the page in the manga and it still took me a minute to grasp
