There is only one bug I know of: if languagepod101 doesn't have the audio for a vocab, then the "I'm sorry we don't have this" audio plays, which can be kind of annoying.

Notice both these items do not have audio without this extension.

Change Log

Update 1 (1/8/14): Fixed a problem where items with multiple readings would play the error message

To update the chrome extension, you will have to reinstall it completely.

Update 2 (2/19/14): Added greasemonkey script. For now, it only substitutes audio during review sessions and not on the individual vocab pages.

Nice, it works, thanks

This will be so useful! Many thanks!

…by the way, your avatar confuses and frightens me.

Nice works, but man what an annoying voice

 is it that bad?

btw, you just reminded me of that one vocab word with the most awesome soundbbyte attached to it... can't remember which specific word it was though. It had the other reader, not koichi

I added an update: “Fixed a problem where items with multiple readings would play the error message.” Please reinstall your version of the extension.

Also thanks for all the compliments!

Another update: “Added greasemonkey script. For now, it only substitutes audio during review sessions and not on the individual vocab pages.”
Firefox users should now be able to use this script!
Haven’t been able to test it yet, so I don’t know if it works.
Edit: Tested it. It works!

The userscripts site seems to be down. Could you provide another link for firefox users?

userscripts has been down for a while, those in the know substitute the URL like so:

Thank you!

Is there any vocab that is still missing audio?

It would be cool to have the option to play either one while you’re reviewing. two buttons? Not sure if this is possible or not.

I vote audio sounds from anime vos.
