Unfortunately the !bang search goes to the entry page on the eow domain without pro lite (they have multiple subdomains, eow-eowf-eowp, so weird) - so there’s no way to see sentences with the ddg search - you need eowf for that.
I highly recommend adding an API or two if you can. I use a combination of the definitions from… Edict? I see at the top and Rikaikun/chan to add synonyms. But I also use the example sentences, sometimes reading through 20+ pages (3 sentences per page) to see the typical usage, as well as how that would be commonly translated. Sometimes it’s very different.
I also add Lesson User synonyms so I can easily add these synonyms immediately.
Finally, it can help to use KaniWani so use you can see these synonyms all at once, it’s easier than pressing F every time you enter meaning on a quiz, and easier when you see them all at once to remind you of the other meanings.
