I’ve been using WK for a long time, and keep resetting my progress whenever I let it slip for too long and need to reassure myself I still remember everything. There have been a lot of changes to WK, all of which I take as improvements, but I’ve been finding myself nostalgic for some of the old radical names and old mnemonics. One of the great things about this tool early on was that you could really feel Koichi and Viet’s loving nerdcore radiating from it. For example:
Nice that it still accepts the old answers (the new one is “net” btw).
I think the updates are better for new people, and people from different cultures, and people whose heyday occurred sometime other than the late 90’s to early 2000’s, but does anyone else miss the old flavor a little?
