Hello!
I was craving some kanji practice cause handwriting is fun, and I decided to do a little weekend project to make a program to generate worksheets from your current apprentice level kanji items. I designed a worksheet that would look great printed out on any size paper (I chose b5 for that Japanese stationary goodness) and with any size kanji boxes. They came out very nice in my opinion, and I wanted to gauge interest, to see how worth it it would be to spend some more time making it a little less technically involved/user friendly to generate them.
My intention is to print one every day, and have a notebook that serves as both practice and a physical trophy of my wanikani progress, so I’d like to add some overall progress information to the footer that I think would really make it come alive.
If you’re familiar with LaTeX, python, and docker, feel free to check out the repository at GitHub - maboesanman/WkWorksheet: Generate daily kanji writing practice worksheets Otherwise, let me know if you’d be interested in generating these worksheets for yourself, or what kinds of features you’d be interested in.
(also, my kaisho font choice was not a free one, so I probably can’t distribute that font. That means I’d need to look into methods for BYOF for the example characters)
