I went to settings, but it is grayed out so I can’t get into “Settings” I know this is a basic question. What am I doing wrong?
Settings is acting more like a folder name here. You can click “App”, “Account,” etc. to be brought into one of the sub-menus.
In other words, there is no standard “Settings” menu ![]()
Thank you! I think trying to use the “word frequency filter “ which is what I was looking for may be way beyond me. Someone asked in the thread about this where the Settings were and the reply was, ”Open the WK Menu, then under Settings → Scripts there will be an entry for it.” So that’s what I was trying to do. But, again my computer skills are not up to this.
Hi @Charlie29 , it sounds like the user might have been referring to a userscript, which are third-party tools created by other users, not by WaniKani ourselves.
Since they’re third-party, we typically don’t provide advice or troubleshooting on how to install them, but it looks like the thread for the script is here. There’s some instructions there and I’m sure anyone in the thread will be happy to help you out if you run into any trouble.
