lol, why is she mad. Isn’t it a good thing that I only messed up once in my reviews today.
I think that when you do too good, it means that you are not challenged enough by the reviews, and that you are « outside the Learning Zone » when it would be better to have something like maybe 85 % of correct reviews or something like that ? You are actually supposed to fail a little I think, just like when you practice listening ; it’s better to have some parts that you don’t understand so you can push yourself into something new instead of listening something that is a little bit « too easy ». At least that’s how I interpret it ![]()
Because you are doing better than her when she was studying – and she cannot accept that! ![]()
On a more serious note, I agree with @Kokinshu that the intended meaning here is probably “if you are doing too well – then maybe you’re not getting enough challenge” ![]()
That, of course, doesn’t mean that you are doing something wrong or that you should start failing things on purpose or paying less attention during reviews… It’s just an indication that if you are doing so well on WK – then you might put some of your effort to other aspects of Japanese studying, like grammar, reading and listening (which you’ve probably done already anyway)…
In any case, may this not discourage you from studying! Everyone has their own way of studying, and only you can find out for sure what works best for you. If someone is not ok with that – it’s their problem ![]()
Best of luck with your studies! ![]()
Huh, my widget has the percent over the past 7 days instead, didn’t know you could change that.
Maybe it would be more intuitive if “above the learning zone” made her look bored/sleepy. ![]()
Don’t forget, the summary page died so that you can be told you’re doing it wrong for getting your reviews correct
Luckily this is not a problem I ever expect to personally encounter ![]()
S… so… the summary page is a metaphor for Jesus?
Brilliant!!!
