I remember I got this wrong and had to make sure I wrote “sakura” instead of “flower”
Because Hanami is specifically about sakura, not flowers in general.

Actually Hanami can be about other flowers, even though sakura are the main ones. “Flower viewing” is a valid translation.
You can always add a synonym.
