It took me about three encounters with this vocabulary term before I realized–I had actually encountered it hundreds of times before in the entry box! I spent some time in previous levels wondering what 答え was, but by the time I became (relatively) competent enough to search with radicals on jisho.org I had all but forgotten to try looking it up again, having contentedly assumed that in the course of time WaniKani would one day give me the answer.

And then WaniKani gave me the answer!

単語 and 部首 are similar words you see on WK and learn at some point (maybe earlier than 答え, I can’t remember).

Yeah when I started reading, that 部首 button on Jisho became my best friend.
