What is 便新?

Hi all, just had a quick question to which I think I know the answer, but I’m not sure.

My phone is in Japanese for immersion purposes and when failing to update my apps it gives me this message: アプリを便新できません。

I’ve been pronouncing it benshin, and thinking of it is update, but it’s not in any dictionary I’ve checked or Google / Bing translate. Am I saying / interpreting it right?

Is it perhaps 更新 and not 便新?

更新・こうしん - update

Eurgh, you are right! I’m finding this happening more frequently as I encounter more and more similar kanji. Thanks for the help :slightly_smiling_face:
