What does your Japanese Textbook Library look like?

I thought it would be interesting to see what people owned around here. Plus, I love lists!

Here’s a list of the textbooks I own:

  1. Genki I 2nd ed. & workbook
  2. Genki II 2nd ed. & workbook
  3. Genki 2nd ed. Answer Key
  4. Minna no Nihongo I & Translation and Grammar Notes - English
  5. Japanese For Busy People I
  6. Japanese For Busy People II
  7. Yookoso! An Invitation to Contemporary Japanese

Genki and Minna no Nihongo have to be my favourites. Right now we’re using Japanese for Busy People in my classroom which I personally hate lol. Yookoso was my first textbook when I took Japanese back in college, but I find it terrible as well :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Next, I want to get Minna no Nihongo 2 & the notes, Shadowing Japanese, and A Dictionary of Basic Japanese Grammar.

My textbook:

  1. クレヨンしんちゃん

that’s it.

I’d highly recommend this book.

That has to be my favorite answer.

I also own the Minna No Nihongo Series! I have Minna no Nihongo I and II and the associated Translation & Grammar Notes and Workbooks. We’re using those in my Japanese language school. I really enjoy them! The only thing I wish they had more of is the cool little cultural notes that Genki has at every chapter.
