What do you do after level 60 in WK?

You can reset like me and do it all again

You keep studying, because when you reach Level 60, you don’t have everything burned yet.

Here’s what it looks like for me, using WaniKani Time Machine. As you can see, I reached Level 60 in September, but I won’t have everything burned for a few more months (when the height of all the colors other than yellow is reduced to zero).

And of course, you read, because that helps cement all those kanji and vocabulary, and the grammar you have been learning elsewhere.

I’m reading Black Box by 伊藤 詩織, kindle version from amazon.co.jp.

Reset to level 1 à la Paticles!

Don’t forget to delete your account!

What? WaniKani doesn’t even teach you the Paticles

Alright, got you, just don’t get Madicles
Edit: Oh wow, that definitely used to be a different post back when I replied

That’s because WaniKani is here to teach kanji, not vocab. The vocab is only included as a means to reinforce the kanji readings.

And to unlock the next 60 you have to reset and climb back to your previous highest level to be able to continue progressing

Not just any reset - but a “restart,” i.e. back to 1.

In COD they call that “Prestige”

I’d still write a guide out of that!
