Does that image mean you’re able to pray in Japanese? Or kiss @$$ in Japanese?
To the OP, I can read NHK easy news and usually understand most of it (with furigana and a dictionary); I can enjoy watching Japanese variety TV and game shows even though my understanding is less than 50% (varies depending on the topic of conversation); I can answer a few crossword clues designed for native speakers; I can write short compositions and essays on topics of interest; and I can tremble in fear at the thought of having to actually speak to a Japanese person in Japanese someday.
In short, thanks to WK and previous study I can start to have fun with the language, but also see that there’s still so much to learn!
