I use CleverDeck.
Its probably not as adaptable as Anki, but as an app, its a lot better.

I’m having major issues importing this into Anki, I downloaded the Japanese support add-on. Is there something else you did? There was some reference to Ruby and my eyes glazed over.

Congrats! I’m currently at 88% of the way through kanji for level 10, just waiting for those reviews to come around…

Thanks @herupaengeru. I did not notice the instructions page before, that really clears things up, appreciate it. I use an already populated deck that has all of the items already. The idea is good but having to import each time to update may be something that I will balk on often.
