Summary
Okay, finished with chapter 1. It was maybe a tiny bit easier to read than the first week, but I didn’t feel like it got as much easier as some claimed in week 1. The 桜 vs 梅 discussion was not the easiest. Even the grammar たまう which I had never seen before was included…
At least I’m also learning something while reading and am not only entertained (I need to get on some N1 prep soon…)
Thoughts
I find it surprising that they actually committed to staying on an island together while having all these conflicts right from the beginning. Not even half a day passed, and we already have 2/7 members who regret joining the island stay.
What also kinda surprised me that the whole trip seems more like a workshop to get the members to write stories for this ominous 死人島 magazine. On the other hand it seems totally unstructured and like they will just hang out for a while. The setup is already kinda whack.
My cousins husband is a magician. It’s crazy what kind of stuff he can do. I actually like being on the receiving end of these magic tricks. As long as you don’t try too hard to figure them out and take them just as entertainment it can be quite enjoyable.
