Hello! A few days ago I’ve released an update, here’s the changelog:
Upgraded all internal dependencies to ensure maintainability and stability
Fixed WK radical characters not showing up anymore
Minor fixes and stability improvements
I was surprised to see that Tangochou is still working quite well even after not updating it for a while, I’m using it again to do some reinforcement reviews and it’s good.
I see from the analytics that some people are using it in fact, if you are and are reading this post what would you like to see as the next feature? Let me know!
Hello! Thank you so much for developing this app and recommending it to me earlier. I wonder if there is any way to implement a few new settings for users.
Some thoughts/ideas:
an option to “auto-commit” on a correct answer so users don’t have to press the enter key twice
a clearer distinction between meaning/reading prompts to speed up the review process (maybe use similar colors as WK? black vs white). I keep accidentally typing the reading for the meaning and vice versa
^^^ I have no idea how difficult that might be
a toggle to put the cards back-to-back, aka meaning right after reading.
I don’t know how feasible any of these options are, so apologies if I’m suggesting extremely difficult/ time-consuming things!
Again many thanks for developing this great little app! only been using it for one day and i love it. It was so easy to port things over from WK too, including my synonyms. <3
The first 2 suggestions are great, I’ll work on them today.
4th one already exists but is a bit hidden, if you click on the settings button inside a deck a dialog will show up with some nice options. One of these is shuffle and it’s the one you’re interested it, select “keep meaning and reading of same subject adjacent”.
