Hello, I am a bit frustrated with how WaniKani displays accuracy, since it is misleading and does not allow you to see the actual accuracy.
Wanikani accuracy is calculated as the correctly answered portion of all questions you get asked. That means for example, that if I have 100 items with meaning and reading and for every one I answer the meaning correctly and get the reading wrong on the first attempt and then enter it correctly on the second, then I will have answered 200 out of 300 questions correctly. WaniKani then displays 67% accuracy.
But what is much more valuable information is that I got every single item wrong. So a more sensible per-item accuracy would be 0% in the above scenario.
Does anyone know of a userscript or another method to see the kind of information that i would like?
Summary Page Revival should give you what you’re looking for, and some additional info.
thank you! that is indeed the kind of thing that im looking for.
What i would really like though, is something that displays this for the reviews i did over a day or a week or month. Do you think that’s available?
Hmmm there’s Review Summary on the Dashboard (see last post in the thread) but it may not be a direct replacement for the default review accuracy widget with its period options.
Otherwise.. dunno, have a look in the Third-party Apps section of the forums. There may be something else there.
@Lorchigator I actually just made a userscript for this exact use case! It is called WaniKani Review Analytics and it adds a panel to your dashboard with daily accuracy trends, weekly charts, SRS breakdown, and item type analysis.
It is exactly what you described as something that displays this for the reviews I did over a day or a week or month.
