Hello, I recently—and finally—moved to Japan and, since I am taking university classes in Japanese, I would like to take my 勉強 more seriously. However, given that Wanikani mainly focuses on reading and also that I purchased Kanji Study, is there a way to link them so that I study synchronously with both apps?
If not, what other apps can Wanikani be linked to? I am looking for recommendations.
Best,
Dani.
SatoriReader - you can align your Kanji level in its settings with your WK level.
It’s very good for practising reading.
Subscription but with series’ first episodes available for free, so you can sample and check if it suits you.
It can be linked with Bunpro as well.
You may have spotted that the Kanji study app allows you to choose between different sequences for your kanji study.
It is possible to load a custom sequence.
There was a post on the wk forum (a couple of years ago?) where someone had uploaded a file or it was probably a link to G cloud.
The sequence will be a bit out of date now as wk makes changes slowly to the ordering.
I used this for a bit. Not sure if you mean the SRS addon in Kanji Study? If so it will test you on multiple readings when you may have only learnt the first in wk.
Kanji study app is very good IMO on practicing writing.
