I’ve noticed that the vocabulary on WaniKani is supplementary in order to reinforce kanji knowledge, but I’m not sure that’s the best way to learn the language, especially since there’s plenty of important vocab that use the kanji introduced that are not a part of the SRS. Are there any extensions that add more vocabulary based on the kanji that I’ve Guru’d? Or should I build one, lol
Most users supplement their own decks on other sites to learn more vocabulary. Mostly used are Anki and JPDB I’d say. But there are lots of options available.
It’s probably best to source your other vocabulary from your own reading/listening to the language instead of using a prebuilt deck.
That makes it much easier to build associations and to differentiate between similar vocabulary.
