I’m sorry but I’m just being really dense here… I can’t find the “user icon - script settings - heatmap - position” entry here anywhere… is that within the TamperMonkey UI or am I missing something? Any chance you could post a screenshot? Thanks!
Is it just me or does the heatmap no more show the upcoming reviews? I loved that feature and love how the UI is easy/quick to read.
Also is there a way to have it per default go to the current year, instead of the past year?

Hi! I have a very specific question and little coding knowledge so would appreciate any help with this. I’m coming back to WK after a 4 year break and planning to reset to level 1, which will delete all of my lessons data from the past (I already reset in 2020 and lost a few months worth of data). Would there be a way to back up this information and later restore it to heatmap similarly to how people are now backing up reviews?
Has anyone here used both the new (2025) official Wanikani Heatmap widget for the renewed Dashboard and this older userscript? Is there any advantage in using the userscript? Just curious about people’s experiences
