Have you tried the v3 beta? Your screenshot’s from version 2.
Sadly this data is destroyed for all items that you reset. In the next version there will be a way to restore reset lessons, but to do this I look at the review data, so unless you did any lessons since August 2017 that won’t help you and your lessons before then are gone for good
Well that mean that they are gone for sure, unfortunately. It’s not like that would give me any meaningful info anyways, I was just curious. Thanks for letting me know.
In a related topic, does it break the purpose of your script (and maybe other scripts) to resurrect some items?
Thanks
WK Heatmap doesn’t care if you resurrect or not, it will show your forecasted review regardless.
Some scripts’ whole purpose is to help you resurrect:
The lesson is not reset when you do this, so the lessons heatmap should not be affected, and review data is not destroyed, so you will keep your old reviews of the items and any new reviews will be registered as usual. I don’t see any way it would mess with the function or purpose of the heatmap ![]()
i just realized click and drag doesn’t work for me (v3.0.26). it highlights the days selected upon dragging but nothing happens after that. it worked at some point in earlier versions.
console:
Same for me, but different log (Chrome 87 Canary)

Oops, accidentally broke it, will fix in the next update
I have managed to fix this
But I can’t replicate this. It looks like your minimap squares are too wide, but I do have the width defined in my CSS. I don’t know
It’s not a major issue, I’ve noticed it only happens on my old laptop anyways, and even on that thing it doesn’t always happen. I can’t really tell what’s causing it though, for as far as I know both devices have the exact same browser, scripts and plugins installed.
I’m trying out some new colors for lessons. What do you guys think about having this as default? I tried to find something that reminds you of the apprentice and guru colors, but actually works as a heatmap
Colors are a highly personal thing. No matter which colors are the default people are bound not to like them. It makes no sense to recommend colors tuned to my personal taste. They are configurable and the generate feature makes it easy to change them. I would say it doesn’t matter which color you choose as default. Pick what you like and be happy with it.
Plenty of people do use the defaults though, so I should be careful when choosing them
In this case I think pink is more likely to displease people than blue. Ocre orange would be OK too in my opinion.
can’t please everyone anyway and people like me customize things like these pretty much on principle, so i say go for it and choose the colors you like best as deafult.
I think that’s pretty good for a default - reminds me of how the lesson icon is also pink
Usually whatever colors I end up picking by myself look horrible, so I’ll switch back to defaults before too long. I like the purple/pink design more than the current green one, but I that’s just personal preference and others are bound to disagree. So I’d just recommend picking something you like yourself, anyone can change it if they want to.
v.3.0.28 https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/410911-wanikani-heatmap-3-0-0-beta
Took a week’s break, but now I am back!
The issue with click and drag should be resolved, as well as one of @BIsTheAnswer’s bugs. Other than that all I did was some major refactoring. All that’s left is settling on some new default colors and then I think we’re good for release
