As someone who’s not an English native speaker and who prefers to learn vocabulary through my own native language, despite knowing English at C1 level, I found it increasingly annoying to switch between the English and Russian keyboard layouts during reviews and lessons. Hence, the script. I’m sure there are other ESL speakers out there whose native language does not use the Latin alphabet, so I decided to share the script here.
What does it do?
Pretty much what the title says. This script ignores your currently active keyboard layout and types in QWERTY Latin when you’re doing your Reading field answers. Tremendously helpful for those of us who speak languages with non-Latin alphabets (I am that person, but I’m sure I’m not alone).
