Will do! Thanks. Sorry I posted in the wrong thread - I’m new to all of this
I see that there isn’t a way to partition the items of a particular type and level so that you could, say, review the first half of the kanji of some level on one day and then review the second half the next day. Is there another userscript for use in conjunction with Self-Study Quiz which enables this? If not, I think it’d be a great feature to add.
Hi @rfindley, will the Self-Study Quiz and Self-Study Hide Info scripts be updated for the new Dashboard overhaul? They’re some of the most important scripts for me, along with @prouleau’s WaniKani Item Inspector.
I will definitely make sure Item Inspector works with the new dashboard. This includes Self-Study Quiz. I don’t expect SSQ to break though, but if it breaks I will fix it.
GREAT news for ALL your Item Inspector users and SSQ users as well!!!
Thanks for all your hard work ![]()
If Self-Study Quiz stops working on the Dashboard page, it will probably still work on any other page, so just navigate to another page before using it.
I will eventually fix SSQ and Open Framework if they are broken, but I am traveling right now.
Don’t worry, they seem to be working fine!
I want to add to script my own table with kanji and vocabs from workbook I study. is it possible to import them and learn with wanikani mnemonics?
I mean, import my own kanji to user script → check if it exists in Wanikani → learn it with WaniKani mnemonics → review with SRS?
Does this item support hearing the items. Personally, I like hearing the words because they help align the vocab to the audio and it helps to associate kanji with words.
Yes. If you don’t hear the audio, you may need to click on the speaker icon to change the audio mode.
awesome, I finally started using scripts and decided on your script. It is a BIG help for busting leeches and for getting the Kanji down pat so I can go fast.
Only thing I would add is a space for the mnemonics so when I get slapped down over and over I can slow down and spend some time absorbing the information.
Would it be possible to add a feature that displays the radical/kanji/vocab info when I get an item wrong? Currently I have to open another tab and look it up manually, which is not very efficient
Hi, I’d like to request a setting that lets users quiz themselves on just the On’yomi readings for each Kanji, and only defaults to Kun’yomi when there aren’t any On’yomi readings. I decided to do an On’yomi-only run using this userscript [Userscript] WaniKani Kanji On'yomi Only, and thought it would be awesome to have this as a built-in option for SSQ.
