# About

This script adds a badge with the frequency of a word according to JPDB. I use it to understand how useful a vocab item I’m learning or reviewing is.

Note that the first time this runs (or whenever the cache is wiped), this script downloads and unzips the JPDB frequency dictionary from [here](https://github.com/Kuuuube/yomitan-dictionaries). Depending on your processor and internet connection, this can take a while, though it takes a couple seconds on my Macbook Air on Chrome.

# Install

1. Install TamperMonkey:

2. Install the [Userscript](https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/558882-wanikani-jpdb-frequency).
