Userscript for reviews from a specific level

I’m coming back to wanikani after a shocking 4 year break! I reached level 36 in 2021 and hit major burnout. I’m not interested in resetting back further than maybe 2-3 levels. My review count is only ~850, and it’s not like I have been completely detached from Japanese in the last 4 years. But I do want to attack my reviews strategically in a way that won’t be too demoralizing.

I remember that I used to have a script that would display buttons at the bottom of the review page for every level that had reviews due. You could click on a level’s button to review only the due items from that level. Does anyone know if there is an equivalent script now? I’ve tried the Omega Reorder, but it only allows you to review in level order as far as I can tell. I want the satisfaction of seeing all due reviews for a specific level cleared if possible!

Have you looked at the Self Study Quiz script?

Yes, I have it, but my impression was that “self study” sessions don’t count towards review count and won’t help me clear my review pile. Is that wrong?

Not exactly what you’re asking but both Reorder Omega and Smouldering Durtles can order reviews by level. You can’t specify a specific level to review as far as I know, but this way you can start with all reviews from the earliest level available (or latest level in reverse order).

This way you can clear levels one at a time if you want, but not out of order.

That’s what I decided to do this morning, and it’s working well. I don’t get the positive feedback of “finishing” a level at a time, but at least it keeps intervals correct and makes the pile more manageable. Thank you!
