Update on the Summary Pages

That’d require them to care about lifetime users.

Any update on this?

I’m a software developer, so I know even with the worst codebase this wouldn’t take more than a couple of days

it makes you wonder, what are they doing? do they need more people? are they still actively developing wk or are they focusing exclusively on content? are they undergoing a complete architecture change and re-writing everything? what’s going on? the summary page is imo utterly important and shouldn’t take a whole year to fix.

Just speculating - but evidently what led up to this was a pretty thorough architectural update including extensive refactoring of the codebase. The stated intent was to facilitate future development - and so seeing as how we have not witnessed that goal coming to fruition, it naturally leads one to wonder whether something may be going on behind the scenes with the dev team. But your guess is as good as (or better than) mine…

Well I hope not  . Usually cloud-native services like SQL support imports and app deployments run via a self-contained Docker container. The main outlier I know of is Kubernetes, which can be extremely messy, because some platforms like AWS don’t provide a self-contained, working solution out-of-the-box (it does work, but pushing anything to the cluster is not guaranteed to work) and the 2 main issues are to/in cluster networking and permissions to other cloud resources.

You would first need extra devs to do the work, though

Yet another feature released while we are still waiting to get summery page back?
Can we have this at the top of the priority list?

Yep, still no summary page, and with this new feature another bit of quality of life was removed for my way of doing the lessons. I am disappointed.

That was possible before, without scripts?

Anyway, you might wanna have a look at the Reorder Omega Script :eyes:

Wrong thread oops

Yes, it was. The only scripts I have are for being able to undo what I entered and re-type (because I do typos A LOT), another one for saying how many reviews I want to do in one sitting (so like limiting it to 30 or whatever) and a sloppy workaround for a summary page.

I never had any other script for telling the website the order I want to do lessons in. It was a setting in the settings I think (?) but anyways, this is how I have always done my lessons. First all radicals, then all Kanji, then all vocab.

I’ll take a look at the script you linked though.

I can relate

I didn’t know that there was a setting for this, I usually just used the lessons picker. Well, not that it matters now anyway…

I hope it can help you

You thought correctly.

I have just passed lv.20 before the summery page is removed. Now I have just started lv.59. Seems like I won’t get the summary page back before lv.60.

Sigh…

Thank you.

Unfortunately the summary page is still not back when I reach lv.60.

I start to wonder if it will be back before I burn all the items.

Something’s telling me they didn’t really hear us loud and clear and it was all bread and circus to keep the peasantry cool and collected.
