Two birds with one stone! 
I’ve currently reached 太陽の村 – while reading everything I could find to read, including item descriptions – and so far didn’t have any problems. The lack of furigana is a tiny bit inconvenient, but I can always look up words I don’t know at jisho.org

I think the game is Korean though, so the translation is probably pretty good into Japanese
There’s some grammar errors in the English version, but honestly they come across as the cute characters having quirky speech patterns so it’s don’t if it’s intentional or not

I’m sure you can do it too (although, of course it is entirely up to you – there is nothing wrong with just relaxing and playing it in English).
It is actually a really good game for Japanese practice – it has just the right amount of text, not too few, not too much.
