  • :open_book: First 15 pages of 大相撲のひみつ | まんがひみつ文庫 | まんがでよくわかるシリーズ | 学研キッズネット. Iirc, this is my third attempt on reading that manga. I’ve managed to read the one about 納豆 without much problems, but this one, for some reason, requires much more time and effort for me… It’s full of Sumo terms and there are also many info pages, which take more time to read than manga pages… But I hope to eventually finish it :sweat_smile:

Today is Easter. Actually, today is one of those rare occasions when Catholic Easter and Orthodox Easter coincide. So, Happy Easter, everyone!
My mother was always very afraid to work on this day. She was a great person, but she did sometimes take religion a bit too literally… I don’t take religion this literally, but I still decided to have a nyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaice rest today. So, I spent most of the day on fresh air, did lots of bicycle riding and a bit of sunbathing – all while listening to Nihongo con Teppei for Beginners :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:
I might have overexerted meowself a bit though, but that’s ok. Being physically tired from most of the day spent on bicycle in the sun – is not a bad kind of tiredness trunky_rolling

Yeah,

is a great resource! I discovered it by accident – when NHK Easy News removed the underlined words with dictionary definitions (which is quite unfortunate, but on the brigh side – they hired real narrators instead of an automatic one they used before), I started looking for an easy Japanese encyclopedia – and found that site. Right now I’m mostly concentrated on its manga section, but it has lots of other interesting materials as well!
