So I prefer instead to read the small bites that you feed on your study log, at this time in my JP study journey
I’m so glad to hear it! 
That’s purrecisely why I’m pawsting it – to purrovide people with additional small bits of Japanese purractice! 
Because with Japanese (just as with meowny other things), every little bit of purractice – counts! 
When I first discovered that meowgnificent site, I too was overwhelmed, and it took me quite a while to start reading those manga regularily
Yes, I think you’re a bit ahead of me on reading regularly…
Every time I try to “read some news every day”, I get overwhelmed after a few days and quit again…

But each time I try that challenge, it gets a bit easier!

So, don’t worry if you still have problems with reading regularily – as long as you keep trying, it would keep getting easier until one day you get past the barrier!
I’m still struggling to get to what feels like is the starting line. I’m aware that I’ve learned quite a bit, but until I start reading, it’s still going to feel like I’ve yet to begin. Alas… grammar.
