Total Overview?

Hi all,

I haven’t been here for years and now I’ve returned since I decided to complete my Japanese studies and reach fluency with a private tutor

However, I remember there used to be some type of screen that showed the overall progress and status of all Kanji (with each Kanji’s “rank” e.g. apprentice, guru, etc. being shown in the same screen). Now I can’t seem to find it?

Am I missing some secret path that leads to it? was it removed?

There was a dashboard rework not long ago.

This is what it looks like now:

Then if you click on the section (ex: the Kanji) you can see the breakdown.

Thanks all -

yes, a level overview is useful but I think an overall overview is even more useful since the levels are just a technical segmentation for learning pacing purposes, they are not inherent to my knowledge of Japanese

thanks @simias - this is exactly what I was looking for - it used to be part of the website, i wonder why they dropped it

I do not believe it was ever a part of WaniKani, was always a separate and independent application.

I am 100% positive they had something like that when I signed up in 2014 (or whenever they started). I remember it because I shared my progress once with a Japanese person (that I met on my trip to Japan in 2015) as a screenshot, and it had all the kanji up to that point.

ohh, you’re right! I forget what we called it, but there were pages that showed progress of all items and they just totally wreaked havoc to our database at the time. It’s been a long while, but you’re correct that no longer exists.
