Curious, what is the Japanese equivalent of loose/lose or you’re/your? I’m talking errors that are very frequent and noticeable yet obviously wrong.

A reliable source I know (a japanese teacher I know privately) once told me that counters are easily one of the biggest things that natives make mistakes with. Mainly because there are a lot of obscure counters used in japanese for oddly specific things. So admittedly not super common but tied to the more rare uses.
He is prone to tease his japanese wife when she messes them up

I mean when we are talking about writing: Kanjis are basically autocorrect/completion hell. So if you don’t concentrate and write fast you make lots and lots of
