A lot can happen in three years; I’m sad to hear that Jourm got laid off at the farm and has been replaced with Joe.
My initial motivation for learning Japanese was my first trip to Japan back in 2019, and I found that motivation drained pretty quickly afterwards, but kept up for a return in 2022. Now contemplating a third trip a year from now.
Hopefully I can find a more steady mental commitment through the coming years. Could say that of a lot of my hobbies in life that constantly come and go.
