Thoughts on recommending 本日 as a vocab item?

I was thinking … “koi-ji?” “ren-ji”?

DAMN, that’s “hen” … That’s where the leech aspect with these two lies for me :smiley: I know that the heart and “winter” radical are the difference, but man. :smiley:

I have the reverse issue when reading menu in restaurant. I made the 本日/日本mistake so many times that I conditioned myself to always read 本日 just for menu, and then I misread when it’s actually a Japanese ingredient or something. Can’t win :sweat_smile:
