The first few level will be like this. The things come to SRS will always be like this from the start.

Why there are no more lessons?
→ Because you haven’t unlocked more lessons. You have studied all available Radical/Kanji/Vocabulary. (Great job!)

How can I unlock more lessons?
→ By getting proficient enough in the ones you already unlocked and studied. It will be at Guru stage where the Wanikani God decides you are sufficient enough to tackle some more Japanese goodness.

Another way is to level up, of course, but you also level up by getting sufficient enough at a certain amount of kanji from that level. (Its different for each level, you can check it out in the Level Progress section.)

Why can't I just study right away and skip the waiting?
→ Because that’s how SRS works. It is Spaced, it helps you reinforce your memory by reminding it at the timing you almost forget it.

In conclusion, go on your days, do your chores, play some games, and comeback occasionally through out the day. It is slow at first since you have nothing to be spaced out for reviews, but once you get the ball rolling you’ll have reviews for days.

It’s all fun and games until you are staring down a wall of 6281 reviews.

(But yeah, the early levels do leave you wanting a lot more – but you can do an Anki deck or Bunpro if you want more SRS in the meantime.)

It’s like this for the first 3 levels or so. I would say, use this time to either SRS vocabulary, grammar or just watch/listen/read something in Japanese. We learn Japanese to use it so you may as well start early.
