300 Days mark
Item counter looking good.
0 lessons too. 3 hours until lv 44.
Morning reviews
Again. Took my sweet time getting to them and doing them, that more reviews accumulated lol.
Finally.
the peace in question:
Well. Not too bad. Except for the baseball terms lol.
Level 48!
Item counter isn’t doing too good lol.
It feels like if I could raise my accuracy just a little bit more I could possible get it down to a nice number, but, well, easier said than done haha.
Leveling up on time hasn’t been easy either.
It is doable, but not so much during the middle of the night lol. I do feel like I’m starting to get the rhythm of the fast levels. All in all, I still feel motivated to continue with this pace!
How many new cards do you usually do each day?
Now, in the fast levels I do first day 50 Lessons, then divide the rest. So, after the 50 of today, I’ll have 92 lessons, so 45 or so per day.
I like to have the lessons at 0 before the next level.
Level 50!!
Stats and studying are staying as usual though.
Originally, I thought that this is as far as I reach.
And, to be honest… This is a good place to stop I believe. Take time to just do the available material and get the daily reviews to a cool sub 200 per day. Since I’m traveling in a month I see this as the optimal path…
But no way lol. I can’t stop with just 10 levels left. Not when I know I can I do it and have still some time.
Level 51!
Someone send an ambulance.
Didn’t want to post yet, but there’s a few topics I’d like to discuss in the next while.
Do you tell people about yourself studying kanji? How much do you tell them? Like your goal, time and where you actually stand? Do you generally tell people about stuff you’re working on and hoping to accomplish?
I don’t lol. I read somewhere a long time ago, that if you want to do something, it’s better not tell anyone about it. Because telling people about it makes your brain receive gratification similar to you actually accomplishing it. I don’t really believe this anymore, but it’s something I continue to do. My reasoning is that if this is going to help, even a little bit, might as well do it. Gratification can come afterwards.
That didn’t work lol. Let’s try this:
Do you tell people about learning Kanji?
Interesting questions!
Well, I’m very reserved, so opening up and sharing things is a big challenge, one I’ve been working on and improving over the years. But, yes, sometimes I do tell people that I’m studying Japanese (including kanji), and sometimes I do tell people about stuff I’m working on and hoping to accomplish. But it depends on a few factors: the person, the situation, the thing I’m doing, my own feelings about the thing I’m doing.
Hmm I see. Would you consider the stage you’re at, in what you’re trying to accomplish to be a factor too?
Even though I don’t tell people around me about these things, once I feel like everything is either done or as close as can be to done, I let loose a little. I wonder if you have something similar.
