I’ve read that some people have got to level 10 in a month or 2. I’ve been using it for just over 3 months and I’m level 4 so I think I’ve been unintentionally following this advice as well…

I actually do this. I do all my lessons in one shot and then I mess up the whole level for a while and then I level up every 2 weeks. Although it make me do 200 reviews per day but that not too bad take like an hour meh.
You might have a better time if you go through WK doing 10-15 lessons a day instead of your current strategy. I also level up about every 2 weeks, but I have like half of those reviews per day, and it takes me less than an hour to do them. Improved accuracy means dealing with far less reviews over the same period of time that you’re spending.
