When I put my arm in, it went in all the way/completely up to the elbow.

ゆるくなった地面はぐずぐずとほどけて、指はどこまでも沈んでいけそうだった。
The softened ground came loose, and it seemed like my fingers could keep sinking indefinitely.

はっきり
壁も床も白い廊下には、蛍光灯がはっきりとついているのに、視界の両端がじわじわと黒い。
Even though the walls and floor of the white corridor are clearly lit by the fluorescent lighting, the edges of my field of vision are gradually turning black.

地元の公立校のゆるい運動部とは違うのだから、夏休み中ももちろんみっちりと部活があるだろう。
The athletics clubs (at the powerhouse private school he attends) are different from the laid-back ones at the public school here, so they almost certainly hold intense/strict practice even during summer break.

Though Megumi should be staying in the dorms, he came home on the first day of summer break and has been lazing about.

She had decided to get up and brush her teeth after resting a little, but as she was she sank deeply into the sofa and fell asleep.

She imagined that the few millimeters long hair would feel coarse or prickly in her palm.

The small waterfall that is usually just a thin trickle, is flowing with such force today, as if someone opened the tap as far as it goes.

赤・白・緑の配色と「七符清陰」というマジック書きがくっきり見えた。
He can clearly see the red, white, and green coloring and the “Nanafu Seiin” written in permanent marker (on the ball).
