nothing much.
at least I could overcome my laziness and did all reviews.
one good tip I used recently was to
- separate reviews into small 3-minute review sessons
- try to do as many reviews you can in 3 minutes (my record is 30 items/session. How about you?)
- repeat
this would help you gain some momentum and keep you focused.
you will solve a large chunk of reviews in a breeze.

You’re welcome! Your resilience is amazing to observe!
WK is enjoyable to me so far as I am currently living in Japan and it’s quite fun to see a kanji I recognise out and about. That’s definitely motivating me to stick to it. On weeks where my workdays are quite busy and I use tiredness as an excuse, the lessons and reviews pile up and scare me so much! 
But when I see the work you’re putting in, it motivates me too!

So, 2020 will come to its end soon.
This has been a bleak year.
Many things, plans, expectations and so on have been stagnated.
Hope that new year would be brighter.
Wish that the power of sun flowers are within us,
to always look on the bright side.

I do think of level 60 it’s kinda great.

Now that worries me. This is what’s going to happen:
- you will amass huge numbers of reviews in a very short time
- you will be discouraged by the numbers
- you will avoid WK
- you will waste your time with shows and games
- in about 4-6 months you will feel bad about yourself, open WK and see around 2.5K reviews
- you will either give up for good or reset to 1 or another low level, maybe 11, and start anew.
You are now setting yourself up for failure.
Alternative: Do 100 reviews a day, then watch one episode of Breaking Bad. Do that until both are down to zero.
You‘ll feel great about yourself. Don’t waste all that effort you‘ve put into this!

(And I did find myself in the middle of literally 2500 reviews yeah. Took me a month to handle)
Dont worry, I have resilience (which someone just pointed out for myself a few posts ago. I may be lazy but somehow I find a way to go back. Hope so).
So for those of you who read these lines I just wanna wish you resilience and determination. I nearly quit for a couple of times, procrastinate a lot and reset maybe 3 times? But Im still here and I wish you are.
I will see you at 60.

so last day of the year.
hope that you are beside your family, friends and loved ones.
well so far 2020 is a good year for my wanikani thingy.
I actually come back from a year hiatus of 2019 and get to this far…
I intended to reach level 60 before 2021 comes, but you know well my bad habit kicks in.
Anyway it has been a kinda good year for me (besides Covid apparently).
So, I wish new year will bring joy, love, peace, and happiness to you!
