Big Ol Kadokawa festival incoming, 40% coinback + 20% off for sets.
Note the terms and conditions, namely:

  • Extra coins are awarded after the campaign closes, so in Nov
  • Only Kadokawa works released before Aug 25 2026
  • There are additional discount campaigns on Kadokawa works being released on a rotating basis so it may be worthwhile to wait until what you’re looking for goes on further discount
  • As usual, don’t use a coupon during this campaign or it voids the bonus coins.

You have to enter first so hit da button here.

If you were into Isekai you could combine it with the 50% isekai festival

As for recs that are currently on sale, affiliate links follow, but I don’t think there’s a lot I can personally recommend:

Restaurant to Another World:

There’s some stuff I want to check out though like:

And the Summer Hikari died - not my thing but might be yours - horror BL(?)

1647

Very good, can recommend.

Also very good, and I don’t like horror (but I do like BL :eyes:)

1648

Once again, Jintor, you know exactly how to push my buttons.

This was a great anime and I’m very much interested in seeing the rest of the story out. Has furigana, even!

Is it time that I finally read this???

I read the first one in english as well and it is indeed lovely. Doesn’t seem too advanced of a read, either.

Would also call this one out:

Plenty of Kadokawa stuff seem discounted, including some Harta comix, including いやはや熱海くん, which I’m obligated to mention since it’s my personal favorite manga. 10/8(木)23:59まで

It seems like a bunch of Lupin the Third is discounted to 100 yen pre tax, as I guess he has another anime starting up right now.

Kadokawa affiliate set posting

I highly, highly recommend Girl Meets Rock, which has 20% off an 11 volume set + 50% coinback (6,688y). It’s a really good high school band drama - more accessible than Bocchi (which is surprisingly difficult) and more compelling than the K-On manga imho.

Not much else I can personally recommend in the sets, but there’s a few things I might one day read. All of these have 50% coinback:

Full list here - also there is the Elusive Samurai, Ultimate Muscle, Dragon Ball, Blue Box, etc.

/edit there’s also a Apothecary Diaries sale since the 3rd season is starting, first 2 LNs are 100y and the rest are 70% off, with discounts on the manga as well. Annoyingly this isn’t replicated over on Rakuten Kobo, grr…

There happened to be the rare occurrence where something on my checklist, specifically じゃあ、あんたが作ってみろよ, happens to have a couple of volumes free to keep, along with a handful of others from the same publisher. 10/22(木)23:59まで. Do I remember why it was on my checklist, or know anything about it? Well no.
The script did not capture it, possibly from getting tripped up in anilist’s search, possibly because it doesn’t have a high enough rating on that site to be considered by the script’s standard. It seems to have gotten a television drama, so it seems like it ought to be mentioned particularly when most of what do get captured seem to be questionable isekais. Perhaps I’ll try troubleshooting/tweaking it at some point.

It’s one of those times where most everything has a pretty generous amount of coinback. 10月15日(木)09:59まで

The amount of Harta stuff on sale expanded to include a lot of great stuff, including 10 volumes of Dungeon Meshi. Particularly with the coinback, really can’t go wrong with that. ～10/18 (日)まで

This manga promotion for the publisher Magazine House includes some interesting looking works, including by Taiyo Matsumoto and Kyoko Okazaki. 10/12(月)23:59まで

Autumn festival, 45% coinback on EVERY DAMN THING* if you buy over 1,500y in one transaction

*released before September 9 2026

And then they’re running a bunch of other sales, publisher basis (though not the big ones). But the big one is this stacks on top of the current 40% coinback later Kadokawa campaign, so you could get, like, 85% coinback.
