How many books do you have one bookwalker? I Sometimes I have problems with my Kobo App and I think it’s because of too many books. It needs definitely more time to load than in the beginning.

I have more than 100. But their website isn’t loading for me either (at all, on any device), so it’s either my internet or their servers. But I guess if Simias said it’s very slow, too, perhaps it’s a server that is common to our geographical location? I don’t know much about this stuff.

Now that I think about it, Zoom had erratic behavior for me this week that mirrored this and also crapped out completely today. So my internet is totally fine except for Zoom and Bookwalker.

I can’t find any other websites or services that aren’t working for me

I got around to fixing the expiry dates - as usual, just required some experimentation with the selections in the BeautifulSoup object.
Also as foreshadowed quite some time ago, I removed spoiler tags for “isGeneralSpoiler,” so if for some reason you’re sensitive to spoilers in tags related to the kinds of series that get to be free to keep on bookwalker, note that fewer might now be blurred out. But at least “reincarnation” won’t be treated as a spoiler for every single isekai…

It’s a pretty beloved high school GL romance between a shy girl who is a writer and a more outgoing girl. It’s pretty well regarded in yuri circles as an emotionally moving tearjerker, without giving too much away. It’s even completed with 6 volumes!

It’s long overdue that I read it; I’ve just been putting it off in lieu of fluffier reads. :melting_face:

Looks like besides the first two volumes being free, volume 3 is also 99 yen (and the next couple are also on sale but less of a steep discount)

But if you wanted you could have a very dragon-themed time and combine this with 骨ドラゴンのマナ娘 which is currently on a coinback promotion, and has a set at 20% off. I worked out that, even though I own one volume, it’ll work out cheaper to buy this set, and plus it gets the extra coinback

A while ago I decided to always get whatever was free as long as it has at least 2 volumes.

This is one of those weeks where I’m regretting that choice.

Oh my goodness… Those are not my genre at all :face_with_spiral_eyes: Especially that second one. What even is this… Well, they do say it’s good to read outside of your comfort zone… :downcast_face_with_sweat:
