The first 7 volumes of A Certain Scientific Railgun* are on sale for 22 Yen. Can anyone tell me if it’s worth giving this another chance if I dropped the anime after 2 episodes for being full of creepy fanservice with too little plot?

Fan service is relatively high (as much as people blame the anime for introducing it, the manga has a bunch on its own) and the language is full of sci-fi technobabble. The plot does get going sooner though.

This non-fiction discount fair includes one of the Japanese history textbooks I like to recommend, 一度読んだら絶対に忘れない日本史の教科書. The title maybe oversells it slightly, but it’s a very very clear and readable history textbook for someone at maybe a middle or advanced level. Does someone know This Series? I’m not sure If These are Prequel and sequel or If the newer Series is Just a new edition with extra Stories that weren’t in the older edition, but contains all Stories from the older edition.

You can buy both. I haven’t read the sequel series (the first link) so I don’t know how much it differs from the original series. I’m reading the original series (second link) right now and enjoying it.
