The "another batch, please" button still shows after 15 lessons

Hey there,
I have my daily recommended lessons set to the default 15. Up until 2 or 3 days ago, once I hit 15 lessons, I only saw the button “back to dashboard” after the third and last batch of 5 lessons.

Now, I keep seeing the second button “another batch please”. It confused me at first because I thought “wait, I still haven’t done 15 lessons yet?”.

I just hit level 7, so maybe it is a feature that unlocks at that level?
Or did they push a bug a few days ago? :slight_smile:

So I haven’t had this exact error, but I did have a bug related to the batches a few days ago. I normally select which lessons I want to do then click ‘Start Lessons’, however the ‘Batch, Please’ button remained instead (I only realised just as I clicked it). It then took me to a random batch of 15 lessons instead of the one’s I’d selected.

Regarding your issue, I’m assuming you haven’t selected more than 15 lessons to do? The only time I’ve seen ‘another batch, please’ is when I’ve still got lessons sitting in my queue after I’ve finished 5.

Hi there, could you let us know what OS and browser you’re using that causes this error so we can try and replicate it? Do you have any scripts or plugins on as well? (I can confirm this is not a feature that unlocks once you reach Level 7, although that’s an interesting idea there)

I’m on xubuntu 22.04 with Firefox 130.0, the only active extension being uBlock Origin.

Thanks for that. I sadly don’t have access to Linux and I also was unable to replicate the issue both on Firefox 130.0 on macOS 14 and Windows 11 but I’ll check with engineering to see if they can give it a go. Have you also tried clearing your browser cache and restarting to see if that helps?

I’ll have to wait for tomorrow’s 15 lessons to see if something’s changed. I just cleared the cache and will try it tomorrow.

It still happened today, after clearing the cache.
However I first had only 10 new lessons available, but ~170 reviews. I first did the reviews, after that I had around 18 (instead of the previous 10) lessons available, i.e. 8 new ones were unlocked after that review session. I started the lessons, and after 15, I got another “new batch please” button and was able to continue with the last 3 ones.
