Be proud! I got my first enlightened about a week ago and saw a burn scheduled… for June. Plenty of time to get those early radicals mixed up with something else!

. When learning kanji I realized they trigger my somewhat latent dyslexia that hasn’t surfaced since I won the d vs b battle.
Tiny spark of pride for today - I finally finished doing verb clauses and started with the 〜ている continuous/progressive tense.

I am about to finish my 4th level of the new year. This is the fastest I’ve ever done that and the first time I feel committed to WaniKani since I joined 4 years ago. It also comes after taking a near 18 month break from the site.
I’ve set a goal of 2 levels a month for 2021 and so far I am ahead of schedule!

Today in my English class, one of my 5th Graders recognized the word “climb” in the passage we were listening to and confirmed if it means “上る?” to which I thought “HEY! I know that word!”

I’ll take my state examination in law next week. My preperation for it started in Feburary 2019. To focus on my preperation I stopped playing Go and reduced WK/Japanese to a minimum for 1 1/2 years. Law is such a broad subject so the exams could be about topics I’ve never seen before and then I’ll have to improvise. However no matter the result I’m already proud that I managed to consistently put that much effort into my preperation.
